WordPress 1.5 “Strayhorn”
Blog Tools, Web February 17th, 2005If you haven’t seen the news yet, WordPress 1.5 is officially available. Get it while it’s hot! Not sure when I’ll upgrade – possibly this weekend (just need to see which of the plugins I use are compatible with 1.5 and reapply my mods, which may be a little painful).
I must admit, I really do like WordPress – I just need to tweak my stylesheets a bit, install a few more plugins and my blog will finally be the way I want it. Stay tuned…

The most annoying thing about wordpress and serendipity is that by default its RSS 2.0 templates include comments. So while you have your RSS 2.0 and your “Comments RSS 2.0″ they do both show comments in my aggregator, here is why:

Now I can see the point of comments in RSS, but I don’t care for them on other peoples sites so I end up not subscribing to RSS from wordpress or serendipity hosted sites
