It amazes me when I come across people who blindly block all traffic from bogons, but who don’t update their bogon lists at regular intervals.

My mail server currently sits in the 70.* block, which ARIN only released for use in January 2004. Of course, there are people with out of date bogon filters who still block traffic from my mail server over two years later (this is easy to spot as I can connect to them from a variety of other addresses, just not my mail server). I don’t see this often, but it’s enought to be mildly annoying. It really isn’t that difficult to update bogon filters automatically. I promise.
